A typical day at Camp Whitesand is below.  The schedule will vary for various activities (ex. beach day) or weather.

Campers Arise


7:30 AM

Campers get up and ready for the day!

Followed by flag raising and morning exercises.

Breakfast | 8:30 AM

Morning Activities


8:30 AM - 12:30 PM

  • Duties/Cabin Clean-up

  • Camp Council

  • Activity #1

Lunch | 12:30 PM

Afternoon Activities


1:30 PM - 5:30 PM

  • Cabin Relaxation

  • Activity #3

  • Activity #4

  • Unit Bonding Time

Supper | 5:30 PM

Evening Activities


5:30 PM - 9 PM

  • Recreation

  • Flag Lowering

  • Campfire

In Cabins for Night  (9:15 PM-10:30 PM - Varies per week)

• Dressier Clothing for Special Occasions
• Socks & Underwear
• Pyjamas
• Modest Swimsuit
• Rain Gear & Boots
• Long pants and sturdy shoes with heels (required for those who take horsemanship)
• Brush or Comb

• Towel & Washcloth
• Sleeping Bag or Bedding
• Pillow
• Flashlight
• Insect Repellent
• Sunscreen
• Cash – to be deposited in the camp bank for safety and used in the camp store.
