Our job is caring for kids. When you entrust your child to Camp Whitesand, you have chosen a camp that meets the standards of safety set by the Saskatchewan Camping Association.
Camp Whitesand staff are carefully selected from many applicants because of their outstanding qualifications and their love for Jesus and kids.
Camp Whitesand moved to its current location in 1986 from Clear Lake, Manitoba. The camp is located just 30 minutes west of Yorkton, SK along the beautiful Whitesand River and is surrounded by a natural forest. The natural surroundings provide a great place for Wake Boarding, Water Skiing, Canoeing and Swimming, and there are over 12km of trails used for Horseback riding, nature activities, and games.
Our commitment is to provide a place where your child can grow in a safe environment and be surrounded by positive Christian role models. It is true that “Christianity is caught, not taught,” and at Camp Whitesand Christianity is contagious!
In John 10:10, Jesus said, “My purpose is to give life in all of its fullness.” At Camp Whitesand we want each camper to experience the abundant life that Jesus has promised that can be ours.
