FAQs

  • Sunshine, fresh air, healthy role models, lots of exercise and super healthy food (delicious and complete vegetarian meals) all combine to provide our campers the 7 healthiest days to be found anywhere!

  • Camp Whitesand reserves the right to process refunds based on a case-by-case format. If the reason for cancellation is one of a family emergency or crisis we will refund in full. If the camper does not attend and no reason is given, or if we deem the reason insufficient, the fee will be refunded at the Camp Directors’ discretion and may include a service charge.

  • Please indicate on your Registration Form and talk to the Boys and Girls Director on the day of Registration if your child wishes to be in a cabin with their friend or family member.

  • Registration for all camps is from 3:00–5:15 pm.  Campers will be assigned a cabin at this time.  Those who have their accounts paid in full will be processed quickly. The first meal at camp will be Sunday supper. The meal charge for guests is $10.00.  Camp Whitesand fees do not include transportation.

  • Please plan to pick up your child from 8:30–9:30 am Sunday morning.  Prior to leaving, each camper must be Signed Out with the Boy's or Girl's Director before leaving the campground. Child Care is available until 3:00 p.m. for those who cannot pick up their camper until this time. Please make arrangements in advance for this service.

  • Campers love letters and packages! Send them early to ensure that they arrive while the camper is at camp!  Letters and packages can also be left at the office on Registration day.

  • Place money in your child's camp store tab by using your credit card on your Camp Whitesand online account, or deposit money in the camp store (for safekeeping) for your child to use during camp to buy snacks, drinks, shirts, and bunnyhugs ($20.00-$40.00 for the camp store is usually adequate).

  • Payphones are available for the campers to use to call home.  Due to the large number of campers, we ask that calls to campers on the camp line (306-647-2296) be limited to emergencies.

  • The Administration reserves the right to reject an applicant and to send home any boy or girl whose influence is considered injurious to the best interest of the camp and/or campers.

  • Our camp is located outside of Theodore, SK, 50 km west of Yorkton on Highway 16. Turn north and follow the RED and WHITE signs into our camp.
